Three firearms have been seized during police exercises in the Northern Division and Southern Division over the past two days.
The weapons, which were all handguns, were seized in Marabella and in Maloney.
The latest seizure was reported on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers of the Southern Division received key intelligence which led them to a premises along Train Line Road, Marabella.
They conducted a search and they allegedly found and seized a Beretta 9mm Pistol, with a modified magazine. The magazine contained 31 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
They also found and seized a revolver with six rounds of ammunition.
About 24 hours earlier, a similar exercise was conducted by officers of the Northern Division in Maloney.
The officers, led by Inspector Greene and Cpl Stevenson, received key information which led them to an apartment along Building 21, Maloney Gardens.
Once there the officers conducted a search and allegedly found and seized a 9mm semi-automatic handgun with 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
The weapons and ammo from both finds are expected to be sent to the Forensic Science Center in St James this week to undergo ballistic testing to determine if they have been used recently in any illegal activities.
More on this as it becomes available.
